It’s an elegant and innovative format that blends signature cocktails with samples of haute cuisine, all curated by star chef Alessandro Tormolino. It was a challenge that began in the summer of 2025 for the partners of Sensi Restaurant: general manager Enzo Calaudi, dining manager Pasqualino Franzese, and chef Alessandro Tormolino.

The new rooftop terrace of the Hotel Residence, located directly on the Amalfi seafront, offers guests a multisensory drinking experience with views of the sea and the monumental profile of the cathedral.

Bartender Roberto Nigrelli, an experienced professional, directs the bar counter and signs a refined cocktail menu. Each drink is constructed with technique, vision, and respect for the raw material. The result is a cocktail list that is a declaration of love for signature mixology.

Highlights include complex, layered cocktails with balanced acidity and spiciness, as well as custom services that pair each drink with a gourmet bite designed to enhance its structure, savoriness, and persistence.

The concept is not limited to technical excellence. Signature by Sensi was created to offer a new way to experience cocktails. It is a place where the ritual of the aperitif is transformed into a complete, cultured, sensual experience. The finely furnished terrace, bathed in the golden light of the coast, is designed to accommodate intimate or convivial moments from golden hour to nightfall.

Every detail is attended to with obsessive attention, from the garnish to the tableware and the service at the counter. The counter’s design is entirely conceived for the outdoor setting, with a striking retractable organization of bottles and all the bar’s paraphernalia. Even Sensi’s signature reception in the lounge is attended to. The result is an experience that transcends the classic bar concept, entering the territory of storytelling, identity, and pleasure.
