I am Alessandro Tormolino, executive chef with more than 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Since 2017, I have been a partner and executive chef at Sensi restaurant in Amalfi, where I have held the prestigious Michelin star since 2022.
A tortuous path full of passion, which I built step by step, thanks to a lot of experience, including alongside international Haute Cuisine chefs, without ever stopping studying.

My idea of cooking is based on innovative preparation while remaining leaping to tradition. The past is something to never stop learning from, to return to the authenticity of flavors whose processing has altered them far too much over time. I am Alessandro Tormolino, executive chef with more than 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry. So today I work to refine more and more a gastronomic experience in which the flavors are not distorted and the raw material retains its naturalness, without any waste.
To date, my innovative gastronomic idea increasingly marries natural cooking, without salt, refined sugars, flour, milk and dairy products.

the awards received

Awarded the prestigious international “La Liste” prize in 2019 for the “youth” category, I have been a member since 2021 of the JRE Italia association, which brings together spokespeople for the finest cuisines from around the world.
I have been awarded a Michelin star since 2022, and renewed annually.
