On November 4th, the Belcanto Restaurant at Dubai Opera will host an unprecedented event: the Grand Gala of the 16th World Summit of Italian Cuisine, an evening where haute cuisine meets the grandeur of opera.
More than 20 Michelin-starred Italian chefs, including our own Michelin-starred chef Alessandro Tormolino, for a total of more than 25 stars, will be featured in a veritable “culinary orchestra,” reinterpreting contemporary dishes and tastes inspired by the great opera composers-from Verdi to Puccini, Rossini to Vivaldi.
Leading the evening will be Fabrizio Lusenti, Executive Chef of Belcanto, joined by some of the most celebrated names in Italian fine dining worldwide.
Chef Tormolino will join colleagues such as Enrico and Bobo Cerea (Da Vittorio), Daniele Lippi (Acquolina), Pietro D’Agostino (La Capinera), Paolo Gramaglia (President), Ciro Sicignano (Lorelei), and many others, bringing to the stage his personal vision of Italian haute cuisine.
