Chef Tormolino at Santarosa Day
United for an evening of charity to benefit the Presidio Ospedaliero Costa D’Amalfi in Castiglione.
On the one hand, our mission to spread the traditions of our land more and more, and on the other, the charitable aspect of the event, have prompted us to join the team of star chefs starring in the gastronomic evening in Conca de Marini next August 30 with our chef Alessandro Tormolino.
Promoting the event “The Day of Santarosa” is the Municipality of Conca De Marini, in the figures of Mayor Pasquale Buonocore, Councilman Andrea Gambardella, collaborator Alfonso Cavaliere, the Korakora Association, and the Santarosa Pastry Cup Team, Tiziana Carbone, Nicola Pansa and Antonio Vuolo.
Retracing the footsteps of the monastic tradition, when on August 30 the abbess of Conca de Marini used to donate Santarosa sfogliatelle to the people, the ambitious team-for ten years working to promote Santarosa-this year promotes an evening dedicated to the most famous sfogliatella in which star chefs and master pastry chefs will take part, with the indispensable support of important companies. A solidarity event in preparation for the 11th edition of the Santa Rosa Pastry Cup in September.
The proceeds from ticket sales will, in fact, be totally donated to the Presidio Ospedaliero “Amalfi Coast” of Castiglione, thus supporting a fundamental resource for the entire local community.
The evening will be a unique opportunity to taste the sfogliatella Santarosa both in its classic version and in innovative variants, masterfully prepared by the greatest excellences of local pastry making. Instead, starred chefs will present gourmet dishes inspired by the products of our territory, thus creating, an unforgettable culinary experience.

Also participating will be the companies Acqua Panna Sanpellegrino, Caffé Portioli, Cantine Marisa Cuomo, Tenuta San Francesco, and Workline Divise.
The evening, which will also see the valuable collaboration of young volunteers from Conca dei Marini, will be enlivened by musical moments in Piazza Olmo, with the special participation of Ciccio Merolla and DJ sets to follow.
